Lately I have REALLY been missing the days when I had time to craft (and shop!). I don't know why making things is so much fun, but it just is. I miss going to Hobby Lobby 3 times a week and decorating my house. So yesterday I packed up the kids and went to Hobby Lobby (oh how I have missed you!). They were both very good for the trip, although I could have spent a few more hours there. I put them both down for a nap and got out a pepsi and I must say, it was great-almost therapeutic. Ryder didn't sleep long; one glue gun burn and two baby einsten movies later I had 2 headbands and one necklace. (Nick, don't show Gracy. :) I had been coveting the cute headbands on Cozy Couture on Etsy for a while and actually almost bought some. They are darling, but super pricey. I decided to try my own hand at it first. They are a little different, but a heck of a lot cheaper. Etsy smetsy.

And I saw a cute little boy wearing a similar choker to this one and wanted to make one for Ryder. I won't let him wear it until he's much older for safety, but Ryan strongly disagreed that no son of his was wearing a necklace. It's manly though, it's not like it's beads. (And it will be smaller and more of a choker) C'mon! What do you think? Too girly?
